Planning Tips: Integrating Masculine and Feminine Energies
I love planning, but I also understand too much planning can leave no room for flow.
You will need to integrate both masculine and feminine energies to create an intentional yet guided system.
Masculine Energy Includes
The structured, goal-oriented aspects include habit tracking, planning days, and setting goals, which are often associated with focus, discipline, and directional purpose. These elements help create a framework for achieving goals and maintaining accountability, promoting a sense of forward momentum and productivity.
Feminine energy Includes
On the other hand, nurturing and creative practices, such as incorporating self-care routines, mindfulness, gratitude, and creative elements like doodles and calligraphy, align with feminine energy.
This vibe is all about looking inward, feeling deeply, and expressing yourself artistically. Engaging in these practices helps you stay in touch with your inner world, giving you some much-needed time for reflection and emotional refueling.
Balancing these energies in your monthly planning bullet journal or planner turns into more than just a productivity tool. It becomes a holistic buddy that helps you get stuff done, takes care of your well-being, and lets you express yourself.

Master the Art of Intentionally Planning Your Month

Firstly, it’s important to understand the difference between simply having a goal and being intentional about it.
A goal is something you want to achieve, while the intention is the purpose or meaning behind that goal.
By intentionally planning, we align our actions with our values and desires, making it more likely that we will achieve success that truly fulfills us.
The most important step in intentional planning is to set clear intentions. This means taking a moment to really reflect, feel, and tune into your higher self about your goals and why they’re important to you.
Let’s get started!
Filling in your Planner or Bullet Journal
Section 1: Define Your Theme

Choose a theme that resonates with your current life stage or season. For example, the healing phase ( wounds, intuition, raised vibration), the growth phase ( new home, new job, self-discovery), and expansion ( kids, money, business). Or whatever other phase you’re into.
Choosing a word of the month or a monthly theme for each month allows you to have a north star when making decisions.
It’s a single word or phrase that sums up what you aim to focus on, what you might need a bit more of, or what you’re looking to improve in the upcoming weeks.
For example, my focus this month is growth, embracing my truth, shedding false identities created by social and childhood, feeling safe in my body, and being myself unmasked.
You can have 1-4 words or phrases to describe your overarching desire.
Section 2: Identify How You Want to Feel

We don’t spend enough time tapping into our feelings. Planning with your femininity means understanding how you want to feel. For example, the emotions I aim to embody are calm, accomplished, and impactful.
Other feelings would include excitement, love, joy, alignment, bliss, sexuality, relaxation, empowerment, and happiness.
Sit in a calm, relaxed state, take a few deep breaths in and out, and connect to the feeling that wants to be expressed.
These feelings should be the fuel that pushes us forward, helping us to dive into the unknown with courage and determination.

Section 3: Write Down Scripts and Affirmations

Write manifesting scripts with a positive vibe and keep it in the present tense.
Write as if everything worked out in your favor for the month. Avoid negative words.
For example, “June was amazing. I was so excited that I started the job of my dreams, and I am grateful for the money that flowed to me this month.“

Section 4: Affirmations for Intentional Planning
Your affirmations should support your theme (for example, feel safe in my body) ( emotion: relaxed, calm, trust myself)
You can use the following to hit each chakra...
This practice adds feminine energy, taps into your manifesting power, and strengthens your intuition.
Section 5: Align Your Goals with Your Theme
Pick goals that reflect your theme. If your aim is to feel calm, consider setting goals that allow for rest and a break from social media without self-judgment. Instead, shift your focus to enjoyable activities, like painting my pantry, making the tasks feel rewarding rather than burdensome.
Section 6: Embrace Self Love

There is nothing more important than yourself, so schedule self-love and self-care activities in your planner.
So add things you or your inner child would enjoy, like
- riding a bike, skating,
- coloring,
- reading a book in the sun,
- things you want to purchase,
- cartwheels in the yard,
- grounding in the grass,
- meditating,
- dancing freely
- passionate sex
- working out and more.
Section 7: Create a Manifestation Section
Keep a section for what you’ve manifested and spiritual synchronicities. This practice helps cultivate gratitude and mindfulness for your life’s achievements. Acknowledge what has come to fruition and give thanks.
In April, my goal was to embody new levels of growth. When I set that intention, a new book serendipitously dropped into my awareness, and it felt like a sign from the universe. I took inspired action and read the book, and it helped me take the next step I needed.
Embrace these moments of connection and guidance.

Section 8: Shift Your To-Do List Perspective
Transform your to-do list into a ‘get to-do’ list. This small change can make tasks feel lighter and more positive. Instead of seeing chores as obligations, view them as opportunities to engage with them.

Conclusion: Intentional planning & embrace energies
As you continue throughout your journal, let go of any doubts or fears that may arise. Instead, trust in your ability to manifest and know that the universe is always working in your favor.
Allow yourself to fully embrace the feminine energy within you and feel it flowing through your fingertips onto the paper.
With each section written, visualize yourself already living the life you desire. See yourself surrounded by joy, love, success, and all that brings you happiness. Trust that these images are creating a powerful.
By following these steps, you can create a bullet journal or planner that not only organizes your tasks but also supports your emotional and personal growth for the month.
