Transform Your Life with Stillness: stop DOING and start BEING
The intention of this post is to help you receive more by doing less. Stop doing, start being.
I know that may sound or feel weird, but hear me out.
As a society, we are constantly bombarded with the idea that doing more is always better.
To be successful and fulfilled, we must work harder, try harder, and do more in a day.
But what if I told you that doing less can actually lead to a happier and more fulfilling life?
It may sound counterintuitive, but it’s true.
By prioritizing stillness, you can achieve more with less effort.
The journey to help you skip steps and move faster

What have I learned about connecting with myself and trusting the process?
Well, it’s clear that the hustle-and-grind mentality of “go, do, try harder, think, plan, and if you want it done right, do it yourself” is becoming outdated.
As a woman who toned down her masculine energy, I’ve learned that sitting still is crucial for growth.
I needed to stop trying to make things happen and plan EVERYTHING out. I was leaving no room for the universe.
It didn’t help that I learned this push-and-hustle mentality from childhood—school, college, society, and then working in a male-dominated industry; I burned myself out trying to force things.
Now, don’t get me wrong, masculine energy isn’t obsolete—it’s necessary, but women need to use it less often.
I never understood how I could pour everything into something and still see it go nowhere.
Some things I can manifest easily, but when it comes to business and money, it always feels like it takes more than it gives. Why?
Because I was trying to structure and plan myself into safety, I wanted to feel safe. If I knew the how, who, when, and why things happened, then it felt like I could protect myself from failure/ disappointment. A wound that kept me from thinking about the best-case scenario instead of planning for the worst.
What changed…

The first thing I had to do was listen more to my guides, my higher self. The version of me connected to source/god. That voice kept telling me to JUST BE. Stop doing and start being. Be still, Be embodied, be present.
But I thought I was being present, right? Sitting still, right? But no, I wasn’t. I was over-planning, overthinking, and doing everything. Even though I thought I wasn’t.
I couldn’t watch a movie without thinking, lol. I couldn’t spend money without worrying. I couldn’t enjoy life without waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I was energetically overwhelmed.
So, what did being “still” teach me?

It taught me that I don’t have to do it alone. I have a spiritual team. I usually put so much effort into doing things that I forget to take a moment just to receive.
Basically, I lost touch with my divine feminine energy.
I was missing trust—whether it was
- Self-trust ( trusting in my power, my intuition, my spiritual gifts, and my purpose)
- Trust in the universe ( to be led, to receive answers and support)
- and trust in others ( to find their own way, to support me, and divine guidance)
I wasn’t letting things come to me naturally. I was ignoring my body’s feelings, both emotionally and intuitively.
I got a visual from spirit: I was pumping water from a well, using energy to get more, pumping nonstop, but I never stopped pumping (doing) to take the time to fill up the bucket ( being still). I was all about action without receiving.
This realization was a game-changer for me. I started to trust more and let things unfold naturally ( by working on limited beliefs and healing wounds).
I tapped into my intuition, listened to my body’s signals, and did breathwork to regulate my nervous system.

And you know what? Things started to fall into place effortlessly.
- I learned that it’s okay to surrender and trust in the divine timing of things.
- I don’t have to be in control or have all the answers constantly. Sometimes, the best thing to do is just to let go and trust that things will work out as they should.
Being still also taught me to be present in the moment.
- To fully immerse myself in whatever I am doing without worrying about the future or dwelling on the past.
- Being present is where life happens. This has allowed me to enjoy life and truly find joy in small moments.
Masculine energy is doing and going, while feminine energy is about being and receiving. Both are essential for balance in our lives.

Integrating masculine and feminine energies means finding a healthy balance between our active and passive aspects.
It’s about knowing when to take action, surrender, and allow things to unfold naturally.
It’s about trusting that we don’t have to do it all on our own and that we have support from the universe, our spiritual team, and even other people.
Being still also helps us to tune into our intuition and listen to our inner guidance.
- It allows us to connect with our emotions and understand how we truly feel about a situation. When we are constantly in motion and doing, we can easily push aside our emotions and ignore how we are really feeling. But when we take the time to be still, we can tap into our inner wisdom and make decisions that align with our true desires.

Conclusion: Stop doing Start being

It’s important to note that integrating masculine and feminine energy is not about erasing or suppressing one in favor of the other. It’s about finding a harmonious balance between the two. It’s about embracing both aspects of ourselves and using them in a way that serves our highest good and the greater good.
Integrating masculine and feminine energy isn’t just about finding balance within ourselves; it’s also about harmony in our relationships and society as a whole.
Now, I’m constantly working on really prioritizing, loving, and trusting myself. More than ever, I realize this isn’t just about me; it’s about creating a ripple effect and making a positive impact on those around me.
If you’re feeling burnt out or overwhelmed from always being on the go, take a moment to just be still. Reconnect with your feminine energy and give yourself a chance to rest, reflect, and recharge. Embrace the power of stillness and watch how it can positively transform your life and relationships.
